Micah Sachsenheimer

is a pianist from Jupiter, Florida, currently enrolled at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Outside of solo piano, she enjoys performing collaboratively through chamber music, large ensembles, rock bands, and a wide variety of musical styles.

Micah is a graduate of the Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts piano program. She has performed in Edinburgh and London as a representative of the school's chamber music program. She traveled with Dreyfoos’ acclaimed Wind Ensemble to perform at the 2025 Music For All National Festival in Indianapolis, and at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. She also performed for three consecutive years in the Kravis Center's highly anticipated annual Prism concerts.

Micah has appeared as a classical soloist in numerous recitals and concerts locally and abroad. She enjoyed participating in masterclasses at the University of Florida's International Piano Festival, and was a prizewinner in the 2025 Charleston International Music Competition for her performance of music by Maurice Ravel.

As a keyboardist and vocalist with School of Rock, Micah and her band toured throughout Europe and South America. Their tour spanned four years, 2023-2026, playing major cities including London, Dublin, Barcelona and Madrid, Munich and Berlin, [where in Portugal, Lisbon?], and [where in Chile, Santiago?]. Locally, Micah is a sought-after freelance pickup and session musician, and has laid down keys and vocals on a number of... Micah is also an avid baker. When not making music, you can find her near an oven creating delectable treats.
